MULTICOLOUR MARATHON
Multicolour Marathon is a little project that I've been working on over the past couple of months. At it's core it is an algicosathlon, which is a competition run through races and events (similar to marble races) made on a physics engine called Algodoo. The competitors are colours of the creator's choice, and sometimes these colours are given personalities, sometimes not, it depends on the one you're watching. My series has a narrative built around the events (it was one of the main reasons I made it) and I use little animated scenes before and after the events for the story.
So, what will you be able to find in this section of the website? A dive into why I made this series, why I love the format that algicosathlons use, my experience making the series and some behind the scenes thoughts on the characters and story.
It may be a shitty little youtube series but it's my shitty little youtube series and I love it. I will link the series down below. Also, in case you can't tell from the series itself, I have never animated or written pretty much anything before (definitely not on this scale) and I hope you enjoy if you do decide to check it out!
